Dr. Jason Sessions
Dr. Jason Sessions was born and raised in Charleston, SC. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, IL in 1994, a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician certificate in 1996, and a master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology in 2012. He has been the chiropractic physician to the South Carolina Stingrays professional hockey team since 1994 to present.
Jason opened the Johns Island practice in September of 1994. In addition to chiropractic manipulation, he uses modern therapeutic modalities and physical therapies such as electrical stimulation, exercise protocols, massage therapy, and decompression to reduce and eliminate pain.
Jason is married to Jennifer, has a stepdaughter, Ellie, who is attending Purdue Univeristy, and has a Golden Retriever, Ennis Lee. He volunteers as the chiropractor for the SC Stingrays hockey team.
Dr. Edward Sessions
Dr. Edward L. Sessions was born in Charleston, SC on April 30, 1943. He graduated from Porter Military Academy, now known as Porter-Gaud School, and Lincoln Chiropractic College. He joined his father, the late Dr. C.T. Sessions, at Sessions Chiropractic, N. Charleston, SC in 1965.
Dr. Edward Sessions served on the SC Chiropractic Board of Examiners from 1977 to 1989. He was awarded “Chiropractor of the Year” and “Chiropractor of the Decade” by the SC Chiropractic Association. He is a member of their “Hall of Fame”. He is a past member of the Charleston Jaycees, Optimist Club and the North Charleston Lions Club.
He volunteered to coach pee wee soccer, baseball, and football teams in North Charleston and has sponsored several recreational little league teams in Hanahan. Dr. Sessions has been a resident of Hanahan since 1979. He served on Hanahan City Council from 1987 to 1993.
He was sworn in as a Berkley County magistrate in 1995. He retired in 2015. Currently, he is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the SC Chiropractic Association. He volunteers as the chiropractor for the SC Stingrays hockey team. Dr. Sessions is married to Carlene and has two sons, Derek, a physical therapist and Jason, a chiropractor.
